Pride in Perth fosters an inclusive and welcoming community by bringing people together through celebration and meaningful connection. We are committed to promoting equity, increasing understanding, and creating opportunities for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and allies to build a stronger, more vibrant Perth and the surrounding region.
We envision a community where every person is respected, empowered, and free to live authentically, and where diversity is embraced as a source of strength, belonging, and pride.
Goals
Celebrate Community
Plan and deliver inclusive events, festivals, and activities that recognize the identities, experiences, cultures, and contributions of 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals.
Celebrate Diversity
Recognize and uplift the voices and experiences of people from all backgrounds and identities.
Strengthen Community Connections
Create welcoming spaces and opportunities for individuals, families, allies, and community partners to connect, support one another, and build lasting relationships.
Support Volunteerism and Leadership
Encourage community involvement by providing meaningful volunteer and leadership opportunities that strengthen the organization and foster civic engagement.
Ensure Organizational Sustainability
Secure and responsibly manage funding, partnerships, sponsorships, and other resources to support Perth Pride’s programs, events, and long-term success.
